Notice of Director Elections & 2024 Annual General Meeting


Vero Voting has been appointed as Returning Officer and shall be responsible for the conduct of the election. Vero Voting is an independent voting service and innovative leader in voting management, servicing a diverse range of organisations, including several from the Golf Industry. Vero Voting has been appointed by Mollymook Golf Club to protect your privacy and ensure a fair and equitable election process. All votes submitted will be confidential and anonymous.

Pre-Nomination Governance Session
A Pre-Nomination Governance Session will be held at the Beachside Administration Building on Monday 28th October at 5:30pm.

This session is only for those members considering nomination for a Directors position. RSVP attendance to management@molymookgolf.com.au by Friday 25 October 2024, 5:00pm.


The pre-nomination governance session provides important information about the roles and legal responsibilities of a Club Director, as well as the rewards and professional development opportunities. Aspiring Directors will also have an opportunity to speak with current Directors.

Online Nominations
Vero Voting will email Financial Playing Members with instructions and unique log-in details to access the online portal to register nominations. Nominations are invited for the following three (3) positions on the Mollymook Golf Club Ltd Board of Directors: 

  • 1 x Director for 3-year term

  • 1 x Director for 3-year term

  • 1 x Director for 3-year term

These positions are currently held by David Hume, Dawn Makeham, and Brendan Bull all who will be re-nominating for another term.

Nomination period
Nominations open: Monday 28th October 2024, 10:00am (AEST)
Nominations close: Monday 11th November 2024, 5:00pm (AEST).


Nomination supporting documents
As part of the nomination submission, nominees must provide a statement of purpose and complete the declaration of eligibility to hold a Company Director position, in accordance with the Bankruptcy Act 1966 and Corporations Act 2001.

The role of a Director is suited to those with an understanding of business and a professional background. Nominees will upload a resume and photo to be displayed during the voting period.

Prior to appointment of a Director, you must hold a Director Identification Number and if successfully appointed, it is compulsory to complete mandatory industry training which comprises five (5) competency units within the first twelve months of appointment. These are legislative requirements in NSW.

Privacy: Vero Voting is bound by the National Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Commonwealth). Member details are removed from vote records after a period of two weeks. Vote records are retained for a period of three months before records are destroyed.
